Thaatha develops and publishes Dhaskuran, a freemium educational mobile game designed for children and families. Dhaskuran is free to download and includes free content, with optional auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock Premium content.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Dhaskuran mobile application on Android or iOS. Dhaskuran is designed to minimize the collection of personal information and does not require a Thaatha account to play.

Unless otherwise described below, Thaatha does not collect personal information from the Dhaskuran app on servers operated by Thaatha.

Information Dhaskuran Handles

Dhaskuran does not ask players to provide a name, email address, phone number, physical address, precise location, or other contact information in order to play the game.

The app may store information needed for the game to function, such as game progress, preferences, and Premium entitlement state, locally on the device. Information stored locally by Dhaskuran is not sent to a Thaatha-operated server.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Premium subscriptions are processed by Google Play on Android and the Apple App Store on iOS. Payment information, such as payment card or bank account details, is provided to and processed by the applicable app store. Thaatha does not receive or store those payment details.

To determine whether Premium content should be available, Dhaskuran receives purchase and entitlement information from the applicable app store, such as the subscription product, transaction or purchase status, and current entitlement state. Dhaskuran processes subscription verification and entitlement information on the device. This information is not sent to or stored on a subscription-verification server operated by Thaatha.

Google and Apple maintain their own account, purchase, and subscription records in accordance with their respective privacy policies and terms.

App Store Services

Dhaskuran uses services provided by Google and Apple to distribute the app, offer in-app subscriptions, process purchases, and restore or manage subscription entitlements. These companies may process information independently under their own privacy policies.

Diagnostics and Log Data

Dhaskuran does not operate a remote analytics or crash-logging service that automatically sends gameplay or diagnostic logs to Thaatha. The app may create diagnostic messages locally for operation and debugging. Google and Apple may independently process diagnostic, device, network, or service information as part of their platforms, subject to their own privacy policies and the user's platform settings.

Contacting Us

If a parent or guardian contacts Thaatha by email, we will receive the email address, the contents of the message, and any other information the sender chooses to provide. We use this information to respond to the request, provide support, and address legal or safety matters where necessary. We do not ask children to send personal information to us.

How We Share Information

Thaatha does not sell personal information, use personal information for targeted advertising, or use Dhaskuran to track players across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Google and Apple process information associated with their own app-store and payment services as described above. Information may also be disclosed if required by applicable law or a valid legal process.

Data Retention and Deletion

Thaatha does not maintain Dhaskuran user accounts or a server-side subscription-verification database. Information stored locally by the app can generally be removed by deleting the app or clearing its app data, subject to the controls and behavior of the device's operating system. Deleting the app does not delete purchase or subscription records maintained by Google or Apple.

If you contact us by email, we retain the correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, provide support, resolve a dispute, protect the Service, or comply with legal obligations. You may contact us to request deletion of personal information that you have provided directly to us.

Purchase, account, and other information maintained by Google or Apple is subject to their respective retention policies and privacy controls.

Children's Privacy

Dhaskuran is an educational app designed for children. We take children's privacy seriously and design the app to minimize the collection of personal information. Dhaskuran does not require a child to create an account or provide personal contact information in order to play.

Purchasing and subscription management are intended to be handled by an adult parent or legal guardian through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Parents and guardians should supervise their child's use of the app and handle all subscription-related actions.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through Dhaskuran on servers operated by Thaatha.
